255 days ago, I created a concept layout of what I dreamed myspace could be if they hired some decent designers to renovate the slowly dying website [link] Just yesterday I looked back on the layout and cringed with disgust on how outdated it looked . Who knew 255 days could be so long. So I tried again, and this is what I got. Thanks for all of the feedback for the last layout, I can assure you it went into this one.

I think I may sell this one as well. PM me for negotiations!

Yea this one is definitely much better. It's fresh and uses stronger colours.

It looks weird to have the blue header's light in the center. Try putting it on the logo.

Also to image of the two girls hugging for signing up seems awkward. A group of people would convey a better impression of what myspace is all about. Why would you have a sign up link if you were logged in anyway?:)

definitely better - though i don't really like the "Hey there, Timoto!" - and I'd have made the background for "Meet your friends' Friends..." brighter than those for MySpace Music & Artist On Artist...


(but there's a lot more thats wrong with myspace than can be fixed my a redesign)

I think they stick with their terrible layout because it's easier on bandwidth.

Ah man...I think about this constantly...and hope that one day they do make it something better...but most likely wont come close to this...

You should think about using a firefox extension like Stylish to actualy make it look like this. This is sooooooo much better than the current setup.
